south African Steam Coal

Steam coal is a mid-quality coal, halfway between anthracite and bituminous coal. Also known as thermal coal, this material is mostly used for electricity production through steam generation.

TYPES OF COAL
RB 1: Global COAL's RB1 grade reflects the standard grade of South African export coal with a calorific value of 6,000kc/kg.
RB 2: Global Coal’s RB2 specification, which rarely trades on the spot market, is for a higher level of volatile materials with a calorific value of 5400 to 6200 kc/kg. RB2 Coal is also known as South African coal. This is used in a wide range of industries in boilers and heaters.
RB 3: It is no coincidence that South African RB3 coal is used in the energy sector and especially in electricity generation. Gross Calorific Value 4900 to 5100 kc/kg.

Anthracite

Anthracite is considered the rarest and the most highly prized and mature type of coal. It makes up just 1% of total global coal reserves, and has higher carbon content than the other three types of this material. This means that, in addition to domestic applications, anthracite is also suitable for specific industrial uses, as it can generate more heat and produces less waste.

MEGHALAYA COAL
Meghalaya has a rich base of natural resources. These include minerals such as coal, limestone, sillimanite, kaolin and granite among others. Meghalaya is the only state in the country where miners were not required to take a mining lease from the government. We are mainly dealing in Meghalaya coal from Guwahati depot.
NAGALAND COAL
Coal is one of the major resources of Nagaland and coal mining has been practiced since the 18th century. Mining requires deforestation and soil excavation thereby leads to disturbance in the forest cover besides water pollution from the leaches. We are offering a wide range of Assam Nagaland Coal. It has the highest carbon content, provided coal is checked by our industry-experts on various quality parameters in line with the set quality standards.

Indian Coal is a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd. There are 7 subsidiaries in India. Coal purchased through e-auction. Indian Coal is not allowed to export due to govt. norms. We are dealing in Indian Coal and provide it to different industries.
KORBA STEAM COAL
Korba coalfield account for a major portion of coal mined by south eastern coalfields limited in the year of 2010 the production of SECL was 101.15 tonnes out of which 73.5 tonnes came from korba coalfield. Sub -areas of korba coalfield are korba, Surakachhar, Rajgamar,Manikpur,Dhelwadih, Kushumunda and Gevra. At present Korba produces 140 Million tons of coal every year which accounts for 17% of Country's total coal production and 85% of Chhattisgarh Coal production. BALCO Private owned Aluminium producer has its smelter Aluminium Plant in Korba.
SPECIFICATION
Coal mined at Korba coalfield generally has the following characteristics – moisture: 4.5–7.4 per cent, volatile matter: 27.9–39.2 per cent, fixed carbon: 34.1–47.7 per cent, ash content: 11.2–31.6 per cent.

PETROLEUM COKE

Petroleum coke, abbreviated coke or petcoke, is a final carbon-rich solid material that derives from oil refining, and is one type of the group of fuels referred to as cokes. Petcoke is the coke that, in particular, derives from a final cracking process a thermo-based chemical engineering process that splits long chain hydrocarbons of petroleum into shorter chains that takes place in units termed coker units . (Other types of coke are derived from coal.) Stated succinctly, coke is the "carbonization product of high-boiling hydrocarbon fractions obtained in petroleum processing (heavy residues)". Petcoke is also produced in the production of synthetic crude oil (syncrude) from bitumen extracted from Canada’s oil sands and from Venezuela's Orinoco oil sands. Petroleum coke was used in Indian Cement Lime Kilns Gasification units Industrial Boilers.

METALLURGICAL COAL

Metallurgical coal or coking coal is a grade of coal that can be used to produce good-quality coke. Coke is an essential fuel and reactant in the blast furnace process for primary steelmaking. The demand for metallurgical coal is highly coupled to the demand for steel. Primary steelmaking companies often have a division that produces coal for coking, to ensure a stable and low-cost supply. Metallurgical coal comes mainly from Canada, the United States, and Australia, with Australia exporting 58% of seaborne trade, mostly going to China. In the United States, the electric power sector used "93% of total U.S. coal consumption between 2007 and 2018"; only 7% of the total was metallurgical coal and coal for other uses such as heating
